Editing Pathfinder 2nd Edition

Okay so seriously, why the difference?

For starters I'm partly invested now. And I also tend to prefer the runner up, the silver or bronze medalist in most cases. They don't often have the same deep pockets and marketing to get as well-entrenched, but they tend to have some cool approaches that keeps them keeping-up with the well-financed frontrunner.

Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast, who owns the Dungeons & Dragons IP. Hasbro kinda spent the early half of 2023 antagonizing their player base in an effort to please Wall Street, and then created a legal quagmire for countless businesses that create or use their product. Hasbro was greedy and didn't read the room with their customer base. Don't be like Hasbro, bro.

Paizo is a separate company who makes the Pathfinder RPG. Pathfinder's 1st edition has genetic ties to former D&D editions, but over time and especially now with 2e is fully it's own thing. The aforementioned 2023 legal quagmire ended up advancing some plans Paizo was kicking around in it's back pocket. So they altered their release schedule for a few things and are bringing forth a major rules remaster in 2023 and 2024! This isn't really much of an edition update or altering underlying structures, it's a deep-cut errata to correct a few larger things. Think of it as edition 2.1, if even that.

So, this is one heck of a time to join - lots of excitement on the horizon!
