Background Ideas
When thinking about a character you'd like to play:
- Think about what you'd like to be their main shtick
- Visualize their personality and how they carry themselves as a Pathfinder Society Agent
- Finally after all that, worry about all the character sheet choices and stuff
Preferred Method: Select an Iconic PC
The easiest method is to choose an iconic Paizo character. They are ready to pick up and play, right out of the box.
I recommend this approach as your GM.
It's a viable approach (even into the long-term) and significantly undercuts the analysis paralysis.
Dynamic Method: Build a PC
For those more familiar with TTRPGs or those wanting to take on a deeper-dive challenge:
